Changelog

ATHENA has been redesigned.

Home, heroes, maps, tiers, and patch notes were rebuilt with a new UI.
On hero detail, ability/perk tooltips can open that ability’s patch history.
Daily trend charts mark patch direction (nerf / adjust / buff) at season boundaries.
The patch notes page groups hero balance changes for easier reading.

About the site

ATHENA is an Overwatch meta site. Check meta heroes quickly by map and tier.

Home: top meta heroes, post-patch movers, hero rankings
Hero detail: hero stats, daily/season trends, abilities/perks, combat type, map stats
Map detail: map stats, combat type, hero stats
Patch notes: organized official hero balance changes

About the metrics

Numbers are processed competitive stats for reference only. They may not match in-game feel. Overwatch and related assets belong to Blizzard Entertainment.

Pick / win / ban rate: official Blizzard data
Adjusted pick: pick rate that accounts for ban rate
Meta score: a score from adjusted pick that reflects how reliable the win rate is
Fit: how well a hero’s combat type matches a map
Total score: a combined value of meta score and fit
